Established under the Chemiplast Group of Industries,
we are the leading manufacturers and suppliers of Aluminium wire rods
and our clientele is not just limited to Himachal Pradesh and Punjab but
USA, Korea, Japan, France, Canada, Singapore, Europe, Africa etc join
the list. We have expanded our footprints in over 10 countries.
The reason for such a wide domestic and foreign reach is simple enough- they trust our product quality. And it is this trust of people we have maintained since 1978. We are approved vendor of the renowned and prestigious Power Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). We provide excellent and fastest delivery and are ISO9001- 2000 certified.
Aluminum wire rods can be produced by different ways and one such method is casting and rolling. The long and square ingot is heated and then repeatedly passed through a series of rolls and coils so as to reduce its cross-section area. These coils are then further heated and pulled through small dies in order to develop them into wires. We have induction heating systems for degassing; melting & holding furnaces for casting and rolling mills. Ageing furnaces for aluminum alloy conductors are also present.
Our aluminum wire rods are manufactured EC grade 1370 with 9.5 and 12 mm diameters.
Conductivity: 61.55 IACS min;
Tensile strength: 95~110 Mpa; 110~ 130 Mpa;
Electrical Resistivity at 20 Degrees C µΩcm Max 2.081
Elongation: 8~15;
Due to the high electrical conductivity and non-corrosive nature of aluminum wires, they are extensively used in electrical transmission lines. In fact, when it comes to this particular field, the use of aluminum is unquestionable as they transmit double the amount of electric current as compared to copper. They are not just good conductors, but highly economical and recyclable too. They are used just about everywhere an electrical impulse needs to travel- transportation, commercial building, machinery and equipments and consumer durable. These wire rods are also used to produce cables and ACSR and AAC conductors. Alloy wires can be used for the production of AAAC.

The Process of Manufacturing
Aluminum wire rods are manufactured by several processes such as extrusion, rolling, coiling or drawn directly from liquid aluminum. Aluminum can be elongated into bar-shaped or circular pieces with the help of these pieces and then can be machined for various applications. In fact various machine parts such as bolts, rivets, screws etc are made of aluminum. The aluminum wire is non-corrosive and has excellent electrical conductivity and hence is extensively used for electrical transmission purpose. Everyday products such as aluminum antennas, chain-link fence material etc are also composed of aluminum.Aluminum wire rods can be produced by different ways and one such method is casting and rolling. What Makes our Aluminium Wire Rods Different?
We have state-of-the-art continuous casting and rolling mill in Himachal Pradesh that has a capacity to produce 15,000 MT wire rods annually. These wire rods have a diameter of 9.5 mm (EC grade/ alloy rods) and are used in conductor and cable industries (AAC, AAAC and ACSR).Our aluminum wire rods are manufactured EC grade 1370 with 9.5 and 12 mm diameters.
